  1. Bull. I'll just call a spade a spade... you took someone's generator... legally I guess but you could've just left it alone. Someone using it to cut wood or whatever so what. probably would've been outa there in another month. Expensive piece of property but you took it upon yourself to make a deal out of it and report it? And I didn't call you specifically any names or threaten you personally... rather those with your mentality in general that think it's ok to mess with another hunters property.. just because it's been in the woods for a few months. Absolutely Steams me..

game and fish gun down endangered red squirell

Kidso did you call G&F and ask if you could keep that squirrel? haha.
  3. If anyone had a generator stolen 1shot has it... While I don't agree the person should have left a generator tied to a tree I also don't agree you get to just take it. It should go to forest service (maybe a lost and found) and if they want to give it back to the owner then fine assuming the owner comes a knockin. Giving property to any joe that reports it abandoned creates a bad incentive for people to just report findings just so they can have (Steal) it. I agree with most of what you say 1shot Except for the fact you think just because G&F or forest service considers it abandoned You feel you have the right to take it..? Go buy your own Damm trail cam. Folks.. these are our trail cam thieves.. the people who think they can just take something not even knowing how long it has actually been there. Most hunters leave cameras up for months at a time. Leave people's stuff alone. Just because there is a camera or stand in a tree doesn't affect you at all... you can still hunt that spot without screwing with people's stuff. I despise the liberal "take what you can get" mentality you are demonstrating 1shot. Just because it is public land doesn't give you the right to remove property from it. There's something called a golden rule and most honest hunters honor this rule and take the high road. Some do the opposite and just take people's stuff. If I ever catch someone stealing my camera I'll beat their face in and shove the camera up their azz sideways.

Looking for a Moose head mount to lease???

That'l go over like a fart in church.....
  5. It's not that complicated... and even more simple since it's been up for so long. Hunt the spot all you want.. who cares if someone has a stand and a trail cam up. Again, doesn't make the spot theirs At All. The only possible issue would be if you walk in and the hunter is there.. in which case back out because he got there first or talk to him to figure out a schedule where you can both hunt it. Some folks on this site will say it's ok to sit the guys tree stand... I would disagree. It's not yours and for safety reasons I would never trust sitting in someone else's stand (But if it was my stand I wouldn't care if another hunter sat in it if I'm not there so it's a grey area) Set up a blind or pick a different tree for your own stand. Why does this have to be complicated? Don't mess with the guys stuff... at all. If he's a prick (assuming you get to talk to him) that's a different story... If he doesn't reply to your note that doesn't make him a prick and you have Zero right to mess with his stuff. Just my thoughts..

What he fails to consider is that our military men and women are pretty dang patriotic themselves (Most gun owners) and for me it is hard to believe you would get most of them to take up arms against their own country while siding with a loser like obama. If a Pres like obummer EVER tried using heavily armed forces against the citizens people would revolt on him so fast he wouldn't last long. This democracy has come way to far to put up with Shi! from some leftist loony president.

    Skull Dipping

Prescott Auto Body in Prescott does an excellent job. contact Chris or Gary there... I've had a few skulls done, others have had gun stocks done. They do great work.
  10. I know someone that does a very good job... Call Prescott Auto Body and talk to either Gary the Owner or Chris who manages that dept. They have been doing this for a while and do very good work. Their phone number is 928-445-7372. I've had a few skulls dipped and a buddy had a gun dipped. They dip almost anything, archery equipment, quad parts, gun stocks, you name it.
  11. If you don't have any luck selling it all as a package deal I would buy all the danglers from you..depending on what you would want for them. Wish I would've known this earlier just bought 8 cages from mercer.

Just an observation of full and immediate head first immersion into the Cwt world which cannot be ignored. Your dedication is admired and I think Amanda should send you a T-shirt or something. Might be a record.

Patrick... you have nearly 200 posts in exactly 14 days since becoming a forum member. I do believe you have set a record! Most of us take a few years to reach that status.

    Strecher? Flesher? FUR WHISPERER

Never mind Hyper and BC777s little love fest they have going on every other thread... They actually go calling together before every fur auction and late after when the moon sets and no one is watching they wine and dine together in celebration of $237 avg bobcat prices. Don't be fooled by their cordial jabs at one another.. it's all in good love I'm sure of it.

Maybe you could've blurred out that meteorite... It's awful. And the bobcat..

    Globe Fur sale

I call BSflag on that one outlaw... first of all how do you know that mt. range is 50 mi. away? It might only be 15 miles. If you take a pic with any particular mt. range in the background in the Prescott area where I live 80-90% chance (at least) I can tell you where you are at just because I spend a lot of time outside and the horizons become Very very familiar. Especially far away perspective shots like the one hyperwrx posted. Furthermore... even if a trapper finds out the general area where he is... hyper wants nothing to do with anyone even getting close to where he is trapping as it can be a detriment to his success. He may say he didn't trap them there but he probably did...in the general area (thus the blur)... but the camera may be facing a different direction at time of pic.. or not, but maybe, probably. You will never know. Same reason people blur out their trail cam pics. Can't blame the guy. To assume there were houses 1/4 mi. in the background is a little dumb but I think Bc may have just been being sarcastic and giving hyper a hard time anyway... I'm not trying to take sides... I could give 2shts about who wins the pissing match between bc777 and hyper... just stating a fact. Sorry this thread was on page 3 and hopefully ready to die but you put'r right at the top!

    Globe Fur sale

Maybe he just blurred out a certain mountain range since certain ranges are very distinguishable and he doesn't want people trapping in the areas he has spent time scouting..

Of course it's a bobcat and If he were to comb out that nice belly fur it could bring top dollar

    Rehydrating an non tanned pelt

I would think just sending it off for tanning would resolve some of that shriveling. The tanning process itself and soaking in the tanning solutions will re-hydrate it. I'm not sure but by trying to re-stretch it again you might risk the hair follicules separating and thus slippage. I could be wrong here maybe it would be fine. Some of the trappers could probably chime in with better advice.
