    Vortex Kaibab 15x56 For Sale

These are the older style. They are HD, i think all kaibabs are, but they do have the old style diopter adjustment

    Vortex Kaibab 15x56 For Sale

Here is what gets me...they say HD all over the box and the binos themselves, but they are about 5 years old. Before the new "HD" models came out. I don't know the difference though

    Vortex Kaibab 15x56 For Sale

It's the same adapter jim white used to sell, but vortex included it with their kaibabs for a little while and it did not have a specific name. It is the exact same thing as the jim white, because i own a couple of them

    Just how tough are Elk?

Growing up in a big butcher shop, it never ceased to amaze me what elk live through. Lots of bullets and arrows, even in the chest. A buddy of mine dang near centerpunched a huge buck a few years ago. Saw him chasing does a year later with a big scar on his side. Dug plenry of old broadheads out of elk shoulders

    razor HD spotter

Look at the zeiss dialyte. Love the no frills design. I've compared them to the razor and i think they are better. They pack very nice, very light and are built really tough. Hard to beat for around $1500

    Boar or Sow

That's what big bears look like

    Goat Check

The buck with the big prongs looks a lot bigger than the first one. Horn length is not nearly as important as mass and prongs

    30-06 for coues

Generally heavy bullets expand a lot less than light bullets and cause less meat damage due to lower velocities.. A 180 out of an ultra mag traveling at 3,500 fps, compared to one out of a 30-06 traveling 2700 fps, will be much more destructive. Velocity is what causes bullets of all weights to expand and cause damage.
