$25 for NRA Membership and Free $25 Bass Pro Gift Card

It had a place to put you current ID number so I think so?
  2. I give huge credit to this husband and especially his wife for keeping it together to protect their family. I has able to attend my wife's first handgun training class last night with her and her friend, and was super proud of her. Next up for her, CCW. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/01/10/16449815-911-tape-shoot-him-again-husband-tells-wife-hiding-from-home-intruder

    Magpul Canceling PMAG Backorders

Another member on here who works for Bass Pro sent me a PM last night. He is going to follow up with their customer service people a let me know if this is accurate and what is going on. I'll let you know. Thanks
  5. I just got off the phone with a customer service rep at Bass Pro about my PMAGS on backorder . She informed me that Magpul notified them to cancel all back orders because they would not be filled. Not certain what this means beyond my own order. Has anyone else heard anything similar?

    WTB AR-15 Heavy Barrel Upper

Call Lance at Dane Armory. He recently got in a bunch of barrel blanks and, if they are not yet all spoken for, could probably build you a very nice custom tac driving barrel in whatever specs you want. He made me an awesome one and his prices are very reasonable. His number is 480-215-2295. Tell him Sean sent you his way.

  9. I currently own a 45 XD Tactical and love it, but have been looking for a concealment pistol. I have been considering the M&P Shield in 40 S&W due to its size, weight, and various other features. The other day I started reading about the XDS 45. The weight and dimensions are very comparable to the M&P Shield. It is about the smallest 45 I have seen and only hold one round less than the M&P Shield. But, this brings up a concerns about recoil on such a small gun. Does anyone have any experience with this particular Springfield model than can give me their general opinion and thoughts on the recoil? Thanks

    B of A shenanigans

They accidentally gave me $400 dollars once. Maybe it was their idea of redistribution of wealth? I don't like it when my bank screws up but I'll take it when it's in my favor.

    Can't fina an AR-15 anywhere.

I'm pretty certain that once this craziness passes you won't be able to buy them new any longer and prices will be higher than ever. Just my opinion.
  13. I really like Lance at Dane Armory. His number is 480-215-2295. You usually have to leave him a message but he gets back to you pretty quick. His shop is in Gilbert/Chandler on Arizona Ave just south of Elliot. If you call him mention that Sean sent you his way. I am going to have him do the same work to my 300 RUM (I think it is the same model as yours).

    S&W M&P 45

I have an XD tactical 45, a Beretta 92FS 9mm, and just got the wife an XD subcompact 40 for Christmas. I really like each gun for its own purpose and reason. I want to get myself a sub compact to conceal as my other two semi-autos are fairly large. Since my wife already has the XD subcompact, I was thinking about the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield in 40 caliber. Never shot one but of the subcompact 40s it seems to be the lightest and smallest. It only holds 7 rounds but the hand grip is not as fat. Most guys who I have talked to love how it fits in their hand. It is also the only subcompact 40 I have seen with a thumb safety. But if you are not looking for concealment in your 45, I'd go with the XD tactical. I love mine!

Congratulations! Still waiting on my first pig. Wasn't able to go this year because of my bad leg. Surgery is planned for next month so my fingers are crossed for next year!

    My first Javelina

I saw a bear skull once that had been boiled with the fixed blade broadhead in it. It was really cool! There were four perfect blade openings with a hole in the middle at the top of the skull. As another posted commented, you should think about boiling yours with the broadhead in.

    Barrel groove rust

There is nothing wrong with pulling your brush back through the barrel as long as you completely pushed the brush out of the muzzle first. In fact that is what most people do. Midway has some great videos on YouTube that demonstrate rifle cleaning this way.

Cool video. Sounded pretty windy, other than the little piggies were you able to call anything else in?

    WTB AR-15

I tip my hat to Sportsmans. I was down there on Friday when they were selling their shipment of about 30 they had gotten in. Price didn't appear to be much different then they were a month ago. Can't say the same for most other retailers, especially a lot of the smaller guys.
