  1. I spoke to a WM who stated that the ingreedients of a product has some impact on their rule for legal or not. But the big thing that is looked at is how is it packaged. If it states that it is for wildlife it is pritty much going to be not allowed, as if it is packaged for livestock it can be used.

  2. I got home last night from a business trip and found my 2012 Archery Bull in the livingroom. In 2012 I did not have the funds available to get this bull mounted, so I hung out in my barn to do something with later. This last summer I found some juniper and oak rounds that would work good for a skull mount and started making plans to do that. Some time around the end of September or the first of October my head went missing. When I asked my wife what happened she said she sold it (dang near resulted in a devorce). At christmas time my wife and son said they had sent the head out to be cleaned by some beatles and with it being dried it was taking longer than expected. This last week end my son said that my head was ready and that he was going down to see his girlfriend and would pick it up. So I started working on the plack for the skull mount for it. I had to leave Monday for a business trip and when I got home late last night this is what I Found.

My hide had been damaged so my son used his hide from his bull last year to have my head mounted. I love it and I love my family. Thank you Geys

  3. Never hunted bulls there but lots of cows on left over tags. I don't have camera's out there at this time but do have some pics of some good bulls out there. If you did get this tag let me know and I will try to find some for you. I have an early bull tag in unit 1 so I will not be able to help during the early hunts bunt after that I can help.

  4. Thanks for the information everyone. I was able to trade some shifts and will be able to scout for a couple of days this next week end. Thinking about camping on the south side of rose peak so I can look at 4 bar one day and strayhorse one day. Thanks again for all the help.

Has anyone gone into the Blue wilderness area?

  5. We drew a unit 27 mule deer tag this year. Does anyone have any suggestions on were to go for carp? I have hunted whitetail in 27 several times and have seen a few muleys while chasing whitetails. Are there any areas better for muleys than where you find whitetail. I was thinking maybe up high ontop of the rim. My son got one up there on a youth hunt several years ago

    Thanks for the help

  6. Just a few comments on this.

The first is for Sneaker When your job takes you out of state you can still apply for a non-resident tag at reasonable price and donate the differance to the G&FD. But do not penallize out of staters, they may have been born and raised in arizona only to find there jobs taking them elsewhere.

The second is for catclaw You can submit your tax return with your application so that the G&FD can increase your fees based on what you make. Please explain to me what makes you a more serious hunter than me?

In 2007 we the hunters in general did not like the Trouphy or Premium tag why would we want it now?

I fill there should be a minimal increase based on a cross the board percentage ( 3 - 5%) for all tags, resident and non-resident alike. The G&FD needs to do a internal review of all employees and get rid of there dead beats and clean house on those that are waisting funds. It has been over 5 years sence I have seen a cost of living raise and I am still able to raise a family and still budget my founds to allow me to do some hunting. The G&FD should do the same.

What makes a 110 whitetail in October any less of a trouphy than one taken in December? What makes a 190 mule deer from the strip any more of a 190 mule deer from the 30 units?

  7. I have the hunter ed point and bave been teaching hunter ed for the last 12 years and have only drawn 2 bull and 2 cow tags in the last 40 years. last year being a early archery bull tag in unit 1.

I think they need to increase the bonus point pass to 40% from 20% to start stabilizing and/or bringing down some of the wait times.

  8. Congradulations to all that drew. My son got a unit 1 earky archery bull tag. He will probebly hunt the same area I did last year. No tags for me this go round. Time to by a new riffle and start looking at deer hunting.

  9. I have not gone threw all the post here yet but it sound as though the ranchers are taking access away from the public to state trust and other public lands. I feel that a petition should be started to change the state regulations to allow for corner jumping so that these ranchers and others can not lock us out of the public lands that we should have access. If they do not wish us on there land then all hunting on there land should be prohibited even to them. They may own the land but they do not own all the animals on that land. It should be the responcibility of the rancher to post each and every portion of private land to leave no question as to what is private or public. If not posted than it is assumed to be public and huntable. there should be limits set to what an individual can make off of our natural resorses.
