This was my dads, he passed away a few years ago. I’ve tried to sell it in the past and haven’t had any luck. It’s time to move it on to somebody that might get some use out of it. I would like to give it away to someone who is just starting archery, but I would really like it to go to a kid. I don’t know much of the specifics as far as draw length and draw weight. I believe it takes modules to change the draw length. I believe they’re 60 pound limbs that can be backed down to about 50. It will need new strings and cables as it’s been in my garage for the last three years. Comes ready to shoot with arrows, depending on your draw length and a whisker biscuit rest, and a sight. I’ll also throw in the hard case. I’m in Gilbert, Higley/Elliot….must pick up. First I’ll take it in the thread takes priority of any PM’s. Thanks

Very lightly used, all the zippers and buckles work just fine. I would like $140 OBO. The first I’ll take it in this thread has dibs over any PM’s. I’m in Gilbert on Higley/Elliot, must pick up. Thanks.

I’m a long time glasses wearer and had Lasik eye surgery that lasted until I hit 40 and then my eyes started to deteriorate to the point where I need glasses again. I’m toying around with the idea of Contacts and have somewhat gotten used to them with a couple trial pairs. I’m wondering how hunting goes with contact lenses? Does it have any effect on glassing, I hate glassing with glasses on. Also, thinking about quad rides and side-by-side rides, does the wind in your face or dust become an issue with contact lenses? Maybe you could wear goggles or something like that? I’m sure there are tips and tricks that would help. I’m also worried about in the heat of the moment having an issue with the contact lens. What are some pros and cons or things you guys have noticed when hunting with contacts compared to glasses?

My wife remembers discussing that with them, but you had to go there for yearly eye exams and if you didn’t it voided the “warranty.” I was young and dumb and didn’t go to the yearly eye exams so that’s not an option.

I have thought about that too. I’ll have to get a consult and see if it can be a long term fix. The first time it lasted about 15 years. The dr said at 40 it would start to go and he was dead on. Not even sure what it cost now a day, was around $2500 back then.

Thanks for the tips…daily’s are what I was prescribed.

That’s why I was thinking of the ski goggles or something like that.

Surprised there is no market for this! Especially at this price, these things are great! I have 2, thinking about selling one, now I’m not so sure.

Either drew 13a archery or 12a west late rifle......drew with 7 points! I’ve been a zero guide fees member for 3 years so either hunt will be 7 days guided! Wasn’t expecting this at all!!

Thanks me too…bitter sweet for me, my 1st choice is a hunt I didn’t know if I would ever apply for again. Last time I had the tag, I found out on the 2nd day of the hunt that my dad had unexpectedly passed away. Obviously I had to cut the hunt short and come home and I was a LONG way from home. Nothing to think about but that for 9+ hours on the road. It was set up to be the hunt of lifetime, my lifetime at least. It was a 13A archery tag and I had a guide. I was so excited. Turned out to be the worst thing that had happened to me in my life to this point. I decided to put in for that hunt again this year, I felt that I had unfinished business in that unit. It’s a long shot that I got it, but there is always a chance I suppose. Likely drew my 2nd choice Nov Coues tag, which I’ll be excited for too. As far as my opinion on how the draw shook out…..boy was I wrong haha. But what are you gonna do? I’ll eat my crow like man and admit when I’m wrong. They won’t get me next time though….or maybe they will LOL. -

Waiting for a portal update is ALMOST as stressful as CC hit day! -
How would this hypothetical scenario play out? Say I put in for a hunt with 10 tags and end up being Guy 11 missing it by one. Then I get drawn for my second choice, but while the card charges are going on there’s a declined card in my first choice hunt. Would they go down the list and get to me (next man up on choice 1) and see that I was drawn for my 2nd choice, would that take me out of the running for my 1st choice hunt or would they revoke my second choice tag and award me my first choice, therefore opening up a spot in the second choice hunt that I drew.
-
It’ll show, you’re good. Happens to a few guys every year.
-
It wouldn’t be any different than if the guys that get “reallocated“ were treated like their cards were declined, they would have to settle those tags regardless.
-
That’s kind of what I thought too. I feel like G&F would just pass you over since you drew choice 2-5, but in my opinion you should be awarded your 1st choice and they should redistribute your other tag. That’s a win for everyone.
-
I know that, but I wasn’t sure how my hypothetical would shake out. Im still not sure.

Mine doesn’t do that on the Chase credit card, but I’ve seen other people say theirs does that so I think it depends on the bank.

Mine went from pending to processed today, I was hit Tuesday morning.
