I live in Mesa not too far from Bass Pro and work in Gilbert around Gilbert Rd and Germann.

The tripod head does come w the adapter as well.

The inclinator didn't come w a mount... but found it was the same dove tail as a set of rings I had and just used one of the rings turned sideways to hold the inclinator.

Man if I was in Tucson I would be all over this, but im not sure im headed there any time soon.

Lately we have been this since we learned about and it works great. Take a vacuum seal bag and fill it with water make it the length of your barrels. Have just enough water that u can still slip it under your scope and drape the bag lengthwise with barrel... the water will help draw the heat from the barrel. We have done the run the truck and place the warm barrel in the AC, but we tested this one day and the water bag cooled the barrel faster the the AC and of course always open the bolt to get a little air flow going too.

I have an extra barrel that i will part with. This is a Douglas #2 contour Stainless steel select match barrel. Great for a mountain gun or a light weight build. Measures .610" at the muzzle and is a 1-10 twist. $250 save some money and waiting time on another new barrel Call or txt Todd 602-677-3791

i too prefer the SFP. I agree with a couple of others who have already stated that if you are using a range finder to get accurate yardage, the FFP features are not needed and I hate how the crosshairs can potentially cover up my coues at longer distances All of mine are SFP and MOA for finer adjustment at longer distances.

It use to be a wildcat. . Now you can buy factory brass for it. Lapua is one of the makers and it might seem pricey but the quality makes up for it in the end. There are a few others that make it as well. Some will say it's a barrel burner, but if you look at where it became popular (1000 yard competitions) its no wonder it got a name like that. In competitions you are shooting several rounds very quickly, much quicker than when doing load development, practice or out hunting. It's a nice round with manageable recoil and some longer range power to boot.

Thanks you guys, its always fun doing that stuff! ... now I just need a deer tag to really finish it off! Was whacking steel with it at 400 yardsthis past weekend after being out with the boy scouts. Not the longest shoots with it by any means but just feel like u can't miss at those distances either

So I picked up this rifle a couple months ago and have been working on it just for a project to do. The one pick is what it looked like when I got it. I got a wild hair that I need to build a stock for it and so ive been tring to work on that in between helping everyone else. It started as just a plain old Remington 788 in .308. I picked up a 6mm barrel cheap (I have my doubts about it already but if I need a new barrel im ok w that too) I picked up a 6mm Dasher reamer and cut the chamber a couple weeks ago. For the stock I picked up some Bubinga and I had some maple, laminated them together and started cutting and shaping, still a little ways to go on the shaping but here it is so far. Still need to finish the metal too. The action I ended up building a new shroud for it and cut the old knob off and built a new one that is oversized. I got rid of the mag and built a single shot follower that fits like a glove in the bottom of the action. I squared the action face a lug too. I built the pillars and just got that part of the adjustable cheek piece done last night. Its been a fun little project and figured I would share it. Even the the 788s have always been a good action.. I always felt they looked a little cheap.. I think it looks a little different now..

Finally made myself slow down enough to get the metal finished. I kind of had to since I wanted to take it and was afraid of possible rain and didnt want to contend w the bare metal. Put her back together and she still shoots awesome!

it still amazes me the comparission between this, Fergusson... and a little ol' rancher in southern Nevada. In southern Nevada the Federal Government came out in full force and threatened to shoot and kill the protestors if they crossed a certain line. They were given "free speech" areas and if outside of the line, would be arrested. The Federal Government was the ones going in a destroying property... something just doesn't seem right with the picture. The government made it a restricted air space and set up snipers on peaceful protestors... It seems like all the other rioters have free rein to do as they please... heck its ok for them to even set police vehicles on fire... Oh the hippocracy of the government... just seems a little odd to me, just saying...
