Saw someone said their friend got hit last night and that they had 600 tags they were giving to others due to credit card problems. So someone still could get hit this week. I call they aren't up till at least Friday.

I have for sale or trade a like new condition Vortex Viper HS 4-16X44 with a V-plex reticle. It does not have a target turret. They are finger adjustable but are capped. Brand new they go for about $500 but since this scope has been mounted on a gun that was shot 5 times I am looking to get $450. I would also trade for a Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40mm with the CDS system installed. Will add money to the trade to make it even.

1.Seemed like you were accusing more than smoking out rumors there tough guy. 2.I also has never once claimed to be a lion expert and have actually said in past posts that I am NOT a lion expert. 3. I do have my picture on a couple different places on this site and am not worried even the slightest bit that anyone is going to come after me or attempt to do something to me. If someone feels I have said something to merit finding me and kicking my butt then go for it you can PM me and I'll give you my address if you would like. 4. And if you check back one post before yours there is at least 1 "like" on that comment lol and I have received a couple PM's from guys telling me they agree with what I said but should tone it down a little on the smart A remarks. Which I can agree that I probably should refrain from stoking to the fire sometimes but with tough guys like you it's just so easy to get you riled up and ready to rumble I can't help myself. Let's put this one to bed and wait for my next opinion on another subject and you boys can have it again.

I'm not to sure about this whole guaranteed a tag thing everyone talks about. Everyone tries to figure these odds and guys with 20 BP don't draw a tag yet some guy get's drawn for back to back early rifle bull tags and antelope tags. A good example is what seek100plus said. His third choice was unit 9 and he drew it? You are telling me all the unit 9 tags wouldn't have been drawn in the bonus pass, and 1st and 2nd choice pass? Then guys that have 20 BP that don't get drawn for their "guaranteed" hunts. I think BP's help but don't guaranteed anything for anyone judging off of past draw results and posts from a lot of people on here.

Can you guys believe Rifleman would say such mean horrible things about someones lion? Go check the Blog by wildlife callers at the very top. Haha you guys make me laugh every time I read your posts. . the only thing you ever say is that I'm a 22 year old and that means I know nothing about the subject of hunting like you big tough weathered and strong old men. I can agree with you that where I posted it may have not been the best place to start the conversation but I never once intended for it to turn into what it did. I never once went after the HUNTER saying he did anything wrong and never once did I suggest his lion was small or not a trophy or a dink or anything of the sort. The original comment was directed at the outfitter and only the outfitter. That was stated when I said it's sad OUTFITTERS are killing females. And if someone can't handle someone elses opinion that's not my problem and I'm not going to stop giving my opinion. Just like many of you give your opinions here on this site. As I said before I only start saying things to piss people off when they come acting tough and bad for no reason. I posted that in the outfitters forum because I want them to know as well as any other outfitter that killing a female lion is ridiculous in my opinion. Last I checked I didn't need permission to give my opinion and obviously my opinion was important enough to get all your panties in a bunch. And Packer, if your philosophy is to believe whatever google tells you, as you suggested I do, you better figure out a better way of getting facts. That's the last time I'll explain to you guys that I never went after the hunter nor intended to disrespect him or his lion. I was stating my opinion to the outfitter, in his forum, in a subject that fit with how I feel about killing females. If that's so wrong I guess you guys will have to put up with seeing my comments or block me. Any of the two are fine with me.

My approach? I'm not sure what was wrong about my first two posts before The Tough Guy went off. . I stated an opinion and I don't care which outfitter it is I would say the same thing that killing females is wrong. Whether you or they agree or not. I'm not here to make it seem like I am picking out some outfitter just to start a problem. I never once thought this was going to turn into what it is now. But as usual when someone states an opinion people disagree and it turns into an argument. I never once said anyone did anything illegal but simply that I MYSELF think killing females is wrong and that people shouldn't do it. Whether you agree or not that's fine. Believe all the quantitative and empirical evidence from the AZGFD that you want. Kinda like the evidence they had to raise bull tags in unit 1 by 100 this year. Let me know how many people agree with that one. As for me I'll go off of common sense and not believe that lions kill 156,000 deer a year in Arizona. Even if you somehow do believe it. I'm not gonna throw a little girly fit like Rifleman and go off on you because you believe it or think that all lions should die. That's your opinion. But apparently for people to be allowed to believe anything you say you must be published? I don't agree with that. . Without someone freaking out could someone please explain to me how it's possible that lion can kill 156,000 deer in a year and there still be deer in the state? May I ask what I said that was so disrespectful and classless? I stated my opinion then the numbers from AZGFD that I feel are unrealistic, even said we weren't going to agree and then here came the CWT police to the rescue AKA Rifleman (The tough guy) and ernesto. And when they started saying the random things making it sound like I was bashing the hunter that's when I usually like to throw smart remarks in to piss them off. Which it obviously did. I even got a nice PM from The Tough Guy trying to hurt my feelings by calling me a boy in big letters to put some emphasis on it. Who is classless? Well well rifleman don't start crying on us here. It's gonna be ok.. I promise. First off let's go back to my original post and see that I never once criticized the hunter nor said he did anything illegal. I said it's sad seeing OUTFITTERS killing females.heck, you can kill a kitten if you want but does that make it ok? As for the hunter I understand completely that he was excited to kill a lion just like any of us are or would be in that situation and I congratulate him on killing the lion. BUT he directly said "you guys don't kill females do you?" to which the outfitter then had the choice of letting him kill a female or not. If the outfitter gives the ok you can't blame the hunter if that's what he wants. So just to clear that up I never once put any blame on the hunter who is paying to kill a lion. Personally if I were paying $1000's to kill a lion I would make the choice to wait for a mature tom but obviously not everyone thinks that way. Now let's get to the good stuff. I don't claim to be a lion expert or claim that I killed a huge lion. But tell me which one of those numbers I posted about deer population and lion population that isn't true. I took it straight off the AZGFD website added it up and gave you the facts of what they claim lions do. 156,000 deer sized animals a year. Seriously? I don't care how much you love deer or hate lions for eating them but give me a break. We would have nothing left in the forest if lions ate 156,000 deer sized animals a year. So while I am only 22 and not a lion expert I can do simple addition and tell you AZGFD's numbers are unrealistic if you disagree or think 156,000 deer die every year from lions I would love to hear about how that's possible. If not . . well then shut your mouth I have been out lion hunting 15 times this year and have seen 12 lions in the tree. 9 females and 3 males. Only two of those lions died. Two mature toms. One of mine and another friends. It didn't HAPPEN to be a tom because we had let 5 females go before treeing my tom. Nice try though. No female was killed nor ever will be killed even if a friend is begging on their knees to shoot one. We don't feel it's right and it will only hurt the lion population giving us less lions to chase and less fun for us. No one that comes with us get's paid or pays for anything on the hunt and we do it for the pure pleasure of seeing cats in the tree and occasionally killing one. I would love to see your lion that you killed though rifleman, you big bad old timer who knows way more than any 22 year old wait. . you probably have never even seen one huh? Dang. Keep trying though maybe someday you can get yourself a nice little kitten and tell us all how proud you are of it and all the deer you saved.

I'm guessing next week. Don't see what would hold up the process after the credit cards are charged. They know what everyone got drawn for hopefully they don't take too long.

Congrats on the hunt but obviously we're not gonna agree on the subject as I have had this conversation with many hunters. Those that are deer/sheep hunters think lions kill everything in sight. Not true. GandF claim lions kill a deer sized animal a week. Let's think about that for a second. 3000 lions in Arizona X 52 deer sized animals a year. That's 156,000 deer sized animals! According to AZGFD there are only about 80,000 mule deer and I couldn't find numbers on Coues but let's say there are 80,000 of them (which there aren't) So that's a total of 160,000 deer in the state and lions kill 156,000 of them a year? Huh? Plus throw in the 1000's of deer killed by hunters every year. Why aren't the deer extinct yet? How many lion kills have all of us on this site combined found? I bet it's under 100. If lions were massacring every living creature why don't we find them EVERYWHERE when we are out there. haha get my point? I'm just saying that people have the wrong view on lions that they kill everything near them. I hunt deer,elk,antelope,(hopefully sheep one day), and lions. Killing females is only going to hurt the lion population and isn't going to save all the thousands of deer and sheep you think it will.

Lion hunting is always awesome and tons of fun but sad to see outfitters killing females.

Maybe you were just so hopeful you imagined it? kidding haha that's weird . . that would be horrible if you got rejected.
