So sounds like your kids didn't deserve the tags. They simply stopped trying to charge cards after the second guy got rejected. If that's the rule they had in place they did nothing wrong. I'd imagine in the next draws they will set it up to keep charging until the tag is given away. Now everyone go put your kids in for that coveted leftover cow tag. Gonna have worse odds than a sheep tag when its all said and done.

even if they decide to figure out who deserved the tag next in line all of your kids are still gonna get a bonus point and the one kid is gonna get a tag. Only difference is this way whichever kid ends up getting it doesn't have to use points to get it.
It is hilarious until your kid put in for that hunt as a first or second choice and were instead given a bonus point. Not saying it was my daughter who would have gotten that tag, but there is no good excuse for there to be a "left-over" tag if someone who put in for it didn't draw. It this case it is probably well over 1000 that put in for most of these and didn't get drawn.
I read guys losing their minds, figured there was gonna be like 100 leftover tags per unit. I look, 1 tag. LmaoJust gonna throw this out there maybe the draw was correct and they just messed up on the leftover list. But everyone losing their minds to try and hang game and fish over one leftover tag in unit 1 and 4a is kind of crazy.

I've said the game and fish can do what they want with the draw (give tags to whoever they please in exchange for info, among other things) for years and everyone said I was crazy and Noone would ever do such a thing. There's never been anyone to check that system and how it works. But I didn't need a couple messed up cow tag leftovers to tell me that. I just think in this case the list was messed up. It's just such a stupid mess up its hard to believe. But what I do know is we will never know because all they are gonna do is say oh sorry just a glitch and those tags aren't available for leftovers now. No way they offer to go back into the draw and see if it was messed up if it really was.

But the concern about the leftovers isnt about a handful of medium quality cow tags. Its the shadow it casts on the whole process. Because if they are using the process as they describe it, and the statistical data they provide is accurate, then something is not right.
That leads me to ask are they following the process they have prescribed and by statute are required to follow? And are they publishing accurate data?
Personally, I believe the data for the most part is accurate.
So then what is going on with the process? And is there a QA QC strategy?
A few years ago the auditor general for the state did a comprehensive review of the Dept and one of his major recommendations was to provide more checks and balances in the draw. I wonder if that is happening?

most of those issues are due to something each individual messed up on. If everything doesn't match with your app and portal whether it's email, phone, address, ss# it won't transfer their stuff over. If they are worried about it call 6029423000 and check results and they will know if they were in the draw or not.I'm hearing a lot of issues with people saying its showing no draw and no bonus points including hunter ed. That's really screwed up if that's true and they don't fix it.

It's a little different if you're talking 3c. They split the hunts up this yearKinda funny there early rifle cow left over tags in units that have 3k applicants last uear

Are you non resident? Also several units have two hunts for cow at different times make sure it's not a different hunt. Or you didn't put in for what you thought you did. Sometimes the nr 10% quota gets met and they can't give nr a tag after that even if there are no residents to take it.Of course there's a bloody leftover in my first choice unit

No, Im talking about for the lope hunt, not elk. The draw odds are worse for 4b, than 10. But, Im guessing I got the 4b tag. Fine with me! Unit 10 can be kind of a zoo.

I was in for archery only. Put in for 10 and 4b and had 8 points. Time will tell!Lots of tags azbugler, that's a "great" kind of busy! Same here (somewhat) as "our group" has 4 tags so far for archery elk and 5 paper apps still in so there could be more. One of the paper apps is for an archery lope tag for myself (19 pts), so curious where you put in for.
just curious when the most recent charge anyone saw hit their account... knowing there may still be a couple.

Your actual points under the bonus point tab will be there but if you click on your app for this year it will say bonus points 0 for that app.Don't know whats up with everyone else's but it shows all my points and has since they started hitting cards.

In my portal page, it shows I have the correct number of bonus points for elk.
In the draw apps portion, it show the guy and I put in with as having "0" Individual Points, each. He should have one less than me. Should I be concerned the points were not considered in this draw? Anyone else show no individual points on their apps?

23n is always a trophy hunt. You saying possibly a rifle hunt? You weren't in the bonus pass for either so odds favor 5b archery but could definitely be the 23 tag.I either drew the 23n trophy hunt or 5bs archery bull. I'm sure it will be the archery tag but with only 3 points, you never know. I sure would like to hunt that trophy hunt!

The draw went as smooth as ever and everything was accurate. Just because you guys are trying to make it out to seem like something went wrong doesn't mean it did. I had nieces and nephews in for these same hunts and Noones upset about it. They followed their draw rules even if we don't agree with them.
