Hi all, I am going on my first ever Elk hunt with my wife at the end of the month in 6a. We do not have a trailer so we will be tent camping. I would like to gather some tips and tricks for cold wether camping. Unfortunately I have lost some of my memories of cold weather camping in the boy scouts as a kid in the midwest. Any tips would be helpful to help make our first Elk hunt an enjoyable one! Thanks, -Mike

Got the surrendered tag call again. This time my first choice, unit 9. Since it is a couple weeks from now, rather than 2 days I'm Stoked ! Going for sure ! Glad I turned down the last one in 10. Some things happen for a reason ! Thanks to the person who surrendered it for giving the next in line some time.

Like new. $500 obo. Sells new for $669. Just used for one weekend hunt. Great pack. I just got a new pack... I like trying new gear out. Badlands has a very similar lifetime warranty to vortex. The Carbon Ox Pack was made for one purpose: carrying a boatload of gear, with a rifle or bow thrown in for good measure. The pack separates from the ergonomic carbon fiber frame to give you access to the built-in, heavy-duty meat shelf. Reattach the pack, and haul out everything after a victorious hunt. Still not enough? Thanks to the Batwing design, and hidden daisy chain, you can lash even more to your Carbon Ox. Large Frame Fits 19"-22" Torso Weight 9 LB, 6 OZ Cubic Inches 3,234 CI Dimensions: 30 IN x 14 IN x 13 IN Main Volume: 2,772 CI Total Volume: 3,234 CI Pockets: Seven Carbon Fiber C6 DWR Carries Rifle or Bow Badlands' KXO-32™ Fabric Aramid Bartacking on Stress Points Hydration Compatible (Up to 3L) Multiple Lash Points Multiple Rear Compression Straps Detachable Rifle/Bow Boot

fairly new bow I've only had for less than a year and its been a great bow I'm just ready for an upgrade. it comes with a trophy ridge 5 pin sight along with a whisker biscuit and a limb saver stabilizer with a peep sight already installed. the draw weight can be adjusted from 60-70 pounds and the draw length can be adjusted from 26-30.5 inches and its set at 65 pounds and 28.5 inch draw right now. its in great condition, one of the cable strings has some wear on it but nothing major and the other cable string was recently replaced because i didn't wax the strings so it frayed quite a bit and so i decided to replace it. the limbs are basically perfect and i cant pick out any scratches. i know some people are ok with putting their bows on the ground but i was never that guy, i hate putting my bow on the ground. asking 750 as this bow was 650 bare bow plus all the extras that i have added and the new string. keep in mind that the string is literally brand new and was about 40 bucks so thats 40 bucks you wont have to pay:) i also have a soft shelled case for it that is brand new that isn't included but for the right price you could buy both. text me for questions about bow or case and for case price. thanks!! -623-910-3399

Just received the call from AZGFD for the 2nd year in a row. Offered me a Goat tag for my 2nd choice. Last year it was 1 week before the hunt and I passed. This year only 2 days before the hunt. Passed again. With no time for scouting and properly preparing thought it was not feasible. Give me at least 1 month next time and I will go !

Best Hunting lightweight Multiple Caliber Suppressor??
Fors3 posted a topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
After hunting in South Africa with a suppressor on the .373 I am interested in putting one on my 300 WIN Mag and also to have one that I can use on my 5.56 M4. My Daughter shot two animals and she is 120 lbs and 5'6" and handled the .373 really well with little to no recoil and very quiet. I have looked at the Omega 300 Black which allows for adding other calibers once you purchase the specific muzzle breaks that the suppressor screws on to. Any other multi caliber suppressors I should be looking at?- 2 replies
