As a purchaser in the firearms manufacturing industry this is the number one cause of prices going up. Followed up with freight costs going through the roof (fuel surcharges). The industry can’t catch up with the demand as everyone’s trying to hoard ammo at the moment. Most companies I know have invested heavily in new machines and run double shifts but supply chains simply can’t match the current demand.
