Which trip are you doing (half day, overnight, 2 day, etc.)?

Also is that pricing per each person or the whole boat up to 6 people?

I gotta take Anthony out on one this year. trying to stay away from a really crowded boat.

I usually do a 12 hour trip 5am to 5pm, some boats do 4am to 4pm.

Price is for the boat, ie. $2,500.00.  1 person goes or bring 5 others.  Since im not rich, i buy the boat at half paid up front and make all the accommodations. Then tell my 5 other buddies thier cost, so about $415.00 per person not including tips.

Del this is awesome for the family as it is just you and the family.

Sean for anything more than 12 hours, i do the larger boats and stick with 1.5 to 2.5 days. Reason for the .5 day is to sleep on way into the dock and drive home without another hotel stay.

The big boats are fun trips too, 20 guys is great 1.5 days is a good time for someone to get their feet wet, 2.5 days is a real blast. I like the 12 hour to overnight trip on the 6 pack boats.  The overnight leaves at 8pm and comes back at 8pm, so I am getting a hotel room.  I dont risk the drive back to AZ alone anymore.

Any more than about 20 starts to get a little crowded on a 65 footer for me. On an 85 or 90 foot boat you can do 30 or so but that is not my cup of tea. I like the Success, Outrider, El Capitan, and would jump on the Pegasus or Pride in a heartbeat as well. They all fish with 10-18. For the bigger boats I would look at the Islander or early in the season the Vagabond which sometimes will fish 1.5 days. For a full on cattleboat experience Pac Queen, New Lo An, Aztec, or Condor are pretty decent boats. Tribute or Mustang if going overnight. Would have said the Tomahawk but they seem to not be as consistent as some of the others and have switched up the Captain a few too many times recently for my taste. I stay away from H&M for the most part but if I had to get on with them would look at Constitution and/or Poseidon.

So only ever done the me + 20 friends and friends-of-friends out of H&M .. I’ve only been on jig strike and relentless and we’ve used relentless for the last 3 years heading out for the 4th in about 6 weeks.

what’s the skinny on the landing? I don’t know what I don’t know.

My son told me yesterday he want to go there this weekend. The bluefin bite is pretty steady but with the real change of getting something over 50 pounds we're not really setup tackle wise for a 60-80 or 100#'s plus setup.

I thought about going north for Chinooks.

Most of the 6 packs seems to offer their own tackle but you can bring your own if you want
