Looking at the radar loop, Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert getting some stalled out cells overhead. Seeing some ccw-rotation similar to a mesocyclone. Had this occurred in the afternoon heat we might be hearing, tornado warning.

I was at MD Anderson on Higley at 8 this morning. Parking lot was flooding and visibility was down on the 60. People were actually doing the speed limit or less. Imagine that.

Drove down to Sierra Vista this morning.  Left at 5:00, rain.  Poured almost to Tucson.

Then, when heading back, rained from Whetstone to Tucson.

Quick update. Got some cool lightning shots before the storm moved closer to Yuma. Crazy to see how these storms develop and build over time. There is going to be some happy animals soon.
