Seeing as how I only put in for one tag in one unit, I’m fairly certain I’ll be hunting Javelina in 37a! Looking forward to it!

Here’s some pics from last years success there.

Lol yeah just about. Rumor is that they taste better😂
last day of our hunt and my buddy had yet to fill his tag. Spotted the herd probably around 1.5 miles away. We got back in there and climbed straight up to the top of the hill/mtn. The view was incredible.
My buddy spotted them again at around 300 yds. And they snuck up and had the pig walk towards them within about 20 yds and he dropped him. Definitely a fun hunt. And they made great chorizo .

One time in Texas I saw them WAAAYYYYYY higher than I ever imagined. Not necessarily elevation wise, but waaaay up on a big butt mountain. Surprised the heck out of me.!

Yeah, that’s the thing with hunting Javelina, they literally can be just about anywhere and probably are, just got to find them.
The place we found them is where animals go to die old😂

Last Tuesday we got hit for 2 javi  tags in 37A, no luck on turkey, super excited…..……until my buddy checked his bank account on Saturday and got hit for 3 turkey tags for unit 27.
Can’t wait, especially after winning the Franchi Affinity 3 Max5 20g shotgun at the Elk Foundation raffle. Next year is gonna be gooood!!!!!
