creed Report post Posted January 4, 2022 10% cap on Non-Resident sales of OTC archery deer tags Is it sales or take? I was led to understand it was take. If that is the case residency must be stated at the time of report. If it is sales is there another way other than a draw based on previous year OTC sales to limit NR hunters to 10%? HuntHarder Report post Posted January 4, 2022 Seems like they'd have to use previous years' tag sales as the #. 30,000 resident tag sold in 2022, Id say only 3,000 non-res tags will be sold in 2023. They still need to complete the comment period through January. Then in mid March, the final proposed guideline changes published for review. Then it’s presented to Commission in April for final action. Only one Commissioner expressed his desire. Until they all vote, it’s not official. Will they all favor the changes? Probably.
