Not new news but great to see they are considering wildlife migration routes in road planning.

I always liked seeing the crossings in the Nevada desert.

I’ve hit one elk in my lifetime, about 15 miles south of Winslow on 87.  Not fun. Really messed up the truck bad!

In 1989 I saw a cow elk just off the side of the road in the treeline off of I-17 with two broken rear legs. Seeing her try to stand and the crimson-stained snow is not something I will forget.

Not a fitting end for man nor beast.

When they built the bridge over Oracle Road I had non hunters ask me how the animals found the bridge.  I said they get emails.

They just use a deer crossing sign.....
