What's your favorite Burger Joint?

Recommended Posts

Get the word out and put in a plug for your local place.

Let us know how many ounces they are.

Types and choices of rolls and toppings.

I like to make them at home and find that about 7 ounces  gives me enough time to get it charred and not over cook it and top it off with onion, tomato, avacado but that can change on a whim. One day it might be ketchup and next day could be Caesar Dressing which works well on Corn on the Cobb instead of butter when wrapped in foil and put on the grill for 20 minutes.

Best at a restaurant...

Harbor house, Sunset beach Ca, I like just a regular cheeseburger, wife liked their Hawaiian burger with a slice of pinapple, covid reduced their menu to the bare minimum and the Hawaiian disappeared, maybe it'll come back. We go over to Huntington beach twice a year to visit her sister's family, always eat at Harbor house. Huge portions and cheap.

In Phoenix, Art's, on Van Buren, looks like a dive right in the middle of the homeless, food is killer. It also took a hit during covid, burger wasn't quite as good as usual last time I went. breakfast/lunch only place.

In AJ, Hackers, also breakfast lunch only, great food and burgers.

I'll add I don't order the mega burger anywhere as I can't really eat that much anymore.

Saw the Chuck Box in Tempe listed.  +1 on that place.

Harvey’s Wineburger in Phoenix.

Had a darn good cheese burger at Charlie Clark’s in Pinetop last weekend.
