Rivers are Running!! Fill them lakes up

Recommended Posts

Upper part of upper Lk Mary, dam at upper Lk Mary overflowing, upper part of lower Lk Mary as seen from upper Lk Mary dam, & lower Lk Mary at lower LM dam.  Yes, there's lots of water in Northern AZ!

We were up there that weekend too.  Had a hard time finding a spot firm enough to park the trailer it was so muddy with water running through every dip in the road and still snow in spots on the way to Whitehorse.  It was awesome!

Looks like they shut the salt river off. It has stopped flowing thru Phoenix. Anyone  in the know ... know when they shut it off and  what they left the levels at  ?

Took a boat from roosevelt way up the salt last weekend to do some flatheading and there is a LOT if water. You could probably take a boat dang near all the way to the diversion dam

With some exception of pump back on Salt-Canyon-Apache, Horseshoe, Bartlett and Roosevelt are all within 1 foot elevation of full water conservation storage.

Anyone in the know on Gilbert Rd reopening?

It has been shut off for almost a week. Where it crosses McKellips Rd east of Alma School the water has receded and the road is dry. It needs to be swept and cleaned up and then the road can be reopened. I was surprised they didn't do it yesterday as it was still barricaded off as of 5AM today.

And 67th Ave and 91st Ave were still closed last I checked on Monday.
