Last fall they said we were in for a dry winter. I don't trust anything these weather guys say. I'll believe it when it happens.

I believe the past two monsoon seasons were supposed to be below average too? Haha

Don't know they but I posted nasa pics of a powerful winter vortex forming early in fall. Forecast was for a wet cold winter.

I was scoffed at.

Do you live under a rock?

Nothing to write home about here in the greater Phoenix area.

Thank goodness Phoenix isn't the only place in AZ. . .  and it was still just barely below average there. Significantly above average in most places.

The past two monsoon seasons have been incredible!  I think there was either near or broken records as far as moisture goes.

AZ weather force on Facebook seems to be about as good a forecast you will find. He called for a wet winter very early when the dry La Niña was all the talk. He does a good job during the monsoon calling the significant storms. Definitely worth a follow.

Climate is what they predict.

Whether is what we get.

I remember talking about this on here. The rest of the state got hammered but a lot of Mesa did not.

In Mesa we got a storm that ripped my roof off, followed by rain every couple days to make an inside rain forest.  Seemed wetter to me!
