Recommended Posts

I’ve driven several fords past 300k. Cars and trucks
Too much of a patriot to drive a foreign vehicle

either way I’ll keep an eye out for a deal

And yet Cubans have been keeping American cars running for 70+ years since the embargo with duct tape and bacon grease.

Most of those cars are body only. Lots of Russian diesels hiding under the hoods of classics in Cuba.

Camry barely made the top 50.

Had a 2017 F250 diesel had the death wobble out of the gate .  Ford basically blamed me for it for asking to have it leveled at the dealership . Traded it w 9000 miles for a 2018 Ram. Had a 1999 F250  diesel that had a crack a in the turbo, fixed under warranty. Then started burning a quart of oil per 1000 miles.   Fordsaid that was normal for the Powerstroke.  I had a 1994, and 1997, never burned oil. Traded it in for a Gm Duramax….  Ford trucks are dead to me…give me a Ram any day .

The biggest thing as gas mileage. Been driving a bronco for 20 years, it's like a jeep but for men. Bulletproof but gets crap gas mileage. Anything new would be Toyota all the way.

Oh really. Mandela effect. I swear I remember watching a vid saying it was a Camry, but that was like 2003

Wife’s 2012 Escape.  I’ve changed plugs, normal maintenance, oil, tranny fluid, filters…

Only repairs were a new throttle body which was $99.99 and purge valve $40 and took me 15 min each to swap.

I recently heard that they are having refinery issues and very few people are even able to but gasoline. Engines of today have tighter tolerances that those 50's and 60's cars and oils are much better with the synthetics that began when Al Amatuzio started AMZOIL. I remember when he was looking for investors to start his company and told me he was going to make synthetic oil back in the late 60's.

Above you price range, but I'm kicking around the thought of selling this one.
