HEADING OUT AND DOWN

Recommended Posts

I am really excited for two reasons, 1, I just viewed on this conference, a few bucks that were shot during the last day or so. Congrats to the successful ones, and good luck to those who will still be hunting, and

2, I heading out from Ft. Collins Colorado, driving 1000 miles, to coues deer hunt in Arizona, east ,and or, south of Tuscon. Should be in camp my tuesday. This will be my forth trip in five year but still excited. Camping out for 2-3 weeks, warm weather and deer hunting, a great combo for sure. Life is good. I moved from the Fort two and a half years ago.

I sure do miss it.

It was 68 degrees today, I miss winter!!

Too bad you were not coming closer to Safford I wouldnt

mind stopping by and saying hello.

If you do head over this way I can point you intoa few places.

Good luck let us know how it goes.

Jeff

Temp in Ft. Colllins is zero this morning. No snow at this level and along the Front Range. My next stop will be Albuquerque NM. where I will sleep for a few hours. Next stop the Arizona line on hwy 10, and should be pitching the tent tuesday mid-morning after I stop and purchase a license.

Thank for the replys. I am looking forward to a good trip. If you see this white Toyota Tacoma, I will be close by.

Jeff, maybe next year. Yes, FT. Collins is a nice town and only a couple of hrs to elk hunting.

Oneshot, I hope you get that "one shot". Maybe we will see each other. good luck. Paul

Paul,

I may have seen you at a CBA thing or two over the years

( I was in Fort Collins for 7 years).

I also loved to see all your success on bowsite bowhunting elk.

I miss hunting up in the Poudre. Some of the places I hunted in

Stove Prairie were just 45 minutes away!

Now i cant get a elk tag to save my life here in AZ and the past couple trips

to CO were rough bowhunting elk ( I only made it to southern CO near Saguache).

Good luck!

Jeff

good luck and have a great hunt! Sounds like Brent hooked you up with some spots, so I expect you should have a great time.

Amanda

Paul has his own spot down south of me. We just chatted a little about the unit. :)
