Thats what I used it for. Perfect little starter kit to begin filming your own hunts or taking photos. If interested I can include a Rode VideoMicro ii Shotgun mic for $50. A lot of people are intimidated by mirrorless cameras because they have more buttons than a GoPro. its 2025, the auto settings on them practically run themselves and the video quality is 10x better than a gropro. As soon as I got it I put on a cage, camskin, and screen protector to protect it from the field... I never put it in a scenario to test the protectors. I removed the screen protector before taking photos because it began to peel off in the corners and just looked bad. They're super cheap, easy to install/replace.
