Azshooter Report post Posted Thursday at 01:45 PM Information that can help OP sell his barrels: The threads on a Tikka's tenon is the same as a Ruger M77 and the push feed model 70s. ( 1"-16 TPI ) The tenon is a bit long so all that is needed is to machine off some length and run a reamer in to establish proper headspace. At the time of machining a larger reamer could be used. Did this with a 25-06 Tikka barrel. Put it on a M77 Ruger and rechambered it to 257 Weatherby, Think of the possibilities with those barrels! FYI Tikka barrels are hammer forged and are very smooth with no reamer marks. This is because the factory starts with a short and large diameter blank. The reamer marks get hammered out.
