Pay attention to your Bonus Points

I noticed that my deer loyalty point was gone from my portal.    Not ideal with upcoming draw.  I emailed AZGFD and got this response.   I don’t know how you can have a system in 2026 where points can disappear.  Make sure you’re keeping track of what you should have vs what it shows.

Right before a draw you have one person say yeah your loyalty point should be there but I have to get approval to get it reinstated! And that will take how long?? Geez!

Had this happen with several family members but was only on that first year they were supposed to get it. Called and had them add it. Even worse for people that already have it and then it disappears.

Good advice is to check your points at least twice a year.  More importantly, well before a draw.

Sorry this happened to you, but glad you caught it, and happy AZGFD is doing something about it.  (hopefully in time)

Do a screen shot after every update so you can use that as proof if something happens.

Well it’s not a one off. I did not catch that it wasn’t correct before the elk/pronghorn draw for my wife but after explaining that 21-25 is 5 years they said it should be added.

so the wife has 5 species points for big horn, she has no hunter Ed point. . So she should have a loyalty point correct.

She should as long as it was five consecutive years.
