I might have already posted these, but seeing the nice petroglyphs that were recently posted reminded me of them.

These are in the bottom of East Clear Creek.

Best one I have found yet... 3 mile hike in from the nearest road... even the native Americans liked to have fun...

Best one I have found yet... 3 mile hike in from the nearest road... even the native Americans liked to have fun...

Did you see the guy's name scratched in the rock down there?. I knew the idiot that did it. Gave him all sorts of grief for defacing a historic area.

What are you talking about?

 

The Petroglyphs at Huerfano Butte. If it is the same place as some of the others.? A guy scratched his name on the rocks among the Glyphs. There are the Petroglyphs, and the pockets in the rocks where they used to grind corn.
