Cactus Wren....not a woodpecker???

Could be? The beak is kind of curved?

Curve-billed thrasher

There maybe a cactus wren in there too, I would have to watch it again.

I will wait awhile so people can watch it and come up with their own list before I post the actual.

nontypical, you did pretty good, but I believe there are more than that.

the red-headed sparrows are actually called House Finches

the big black bird you saw is a great-tailed grackle

and yes there were some cardinals

there is no road runner....not sure which one you thought was that one...maybe the curve-bille thrasher

and the yellow birds are the lesser golfinches

Yes, that dog was my old Molly....she died several years ago. But she liked to walk by there and go sit on the wall and watch the neighbors dogs and kids. The kieds would give her treats sometimes

Quit feeding. if they don't leave use the gopher bait from Ace Hardware. its about $13 bucks and you'll have dead pigeons all over the place. I would try to quit feeding for awhile and then use it and maybe you wont kill as many non target birds. Works great tho if you want some dead birds

I have come to the conclusion that these Pigeons must be Obama voters ......

A.) They are as dumb as a rock

B.) They are always lookng for handouts

C.) They are prolific breeders that pass on their questionable DNA to the offspring

D.) They won't go away

You could easily build a pigeon trap. Probably quite cheaply. It is very similar to a box type crawfish trap only bigger.

C'mon........I was making a joke about the Obama voters. :P As much as I would like to take a slingshot and bag of marbles to the Dem voters, I would probably go to jail........and the Fed's would take away my marbles and .......ban my slingshot!

Go to the pound and adopt a bunch of cats. Feed em gun powder to make em crazy and beat em with dead pigons. They'll end up being the perfect pigon killers. Just don't tell PETA
