2 for 3

got these two bucks the opening morning. my grandfather missed the big one of the herd. a 160-170 non typical. could have been 3 for 3 opening morning. hunted a herd that kept sneakin into private land with another really nice buck in it the rest of the trip, sunday was spent watching football, playin horseshoes, a few cold ones and an evening scouting for an upcoming Elk hunt. missed church but who needs it when ur in God's country. lol

Congrats! Always wondered how those Muley get the "torn ears"? Fighting with another buck? Fences?

Nice bucks. You got those in 8 right? I'm assuming by the pic of the two on the ground you got them up top? My wife got a real nice 3x3 on opening morning down low in the cedars. Not sure how to post pics here or I'd put one up.

Thanks all. Should have seen the buck my grandpa missed.... yes in 8. It was very dry n a lil warm. We did an evening hunt lower in the cedars out west. Alota sheep n cows. Gotta be up threre again the 30th for an elk hunt. Brrrrrrr.. yes the smaller buck was a headshot. Lol. Said he was tryna salvage as much meat as possible. Haha yea... the other took a ham shot n one that went thu the front leg into the heart/lung. N one that took off a g2.
