October Coues Hunt vs December Rut Hunt

Nice work. Great bucks. I agree with you on the hunts. Quality bucks can be found during both hunts. Bigger bucks give themselves up during the rut if it happens to be going during the Dec hunt, most of the time the rut doesn't get popping for Coues until Jan. On the other hand, if you have a buck sighted October is the way to go. They are extremely patternable. Looks like you guys have had that figured out for a long time. Good job.

I have always said you can kill a 100 inch buck every october hunt if you scout.I really got burned out hunting them when i was younger it just got to easy and boring for me so I took up hunting big muleys in my opionon they are much harder to hunt then a 100 inch cows deer.just my thoughts,
