Neat Fish.

 

I always wondered why they named it a "tiger trout" even though it has spots rather than stripes. Seems Leopard, jaguar or ocelot trout would be more proper.

 

If I recall, it's a hybrid of a brown and brookie, right.

Yep, Brookie Brown Hydrid. I always thought leopard Trout would be more fitting too! Gorgeous either way!

I've caught quite a few of them ice fishing up in Massachusetts. They are a big part of the stocking program up in the Northeast.

Cool fish. I have been wanting to go up to the Boulders and fish for those and Brooks for a long time. Looks like fun!!

Kids and I do an annual fishing/camping trip to Southern Utah. We did the Boulder Mt. area a couple of years and had a blast. Amazing country up there. This pic makes me want to go back!

That is coolest trout i have ever seen! bhut kinda looks like a bass with leopard spots, could be cuz trout i catch are usuall 8" :)
