what animals eat barrel cactus?

i remember on my sheep hunt we watched them bash open cactus's and eat the insides. but what else does? i was in an area that just about every barrel cactus had been eaten. javelina im guessing?

ya im not talking about the fruit, these were baby saguaros or barrel cactus that were devoured. probably cows, theyre in there pretty thick i think.

Iv seen some cows do a number on some prickly pear patches too. I was freaked out at first i was like theres no way theres 4 foot tall javis here hahaha until I saw the cattle munchin away.
