GRONG Report post Posted August 24, 2014 I was just old enough to hunt in this picture, 1983. I went with Dad on A LOT of bear hunts from 8-11 years old. We ran dogs all over unit 8 back in the day. Some of my fondest memories are with my Dad in camps back then and chasing dogs up and down those nasty canyons. Dad shot this bear with his open sighted .30-30 across a canyon.
