Lets See Them Kids

Recommended Posts

This is my sons first big game harvest. He is hooked for life now. He shot this cow at 250 yds. on the second day of the hunt.I am very proud of him he did an awesome job.

Wow, 250 yards is a great accomplishment at that age. Congrats!

Welcome to the site azmomma. This is one of my favorite threads and one I never get tired of looking at it. Thanks for adding your daughter. She looks like a natural already. Great looking gun. :)

A few of my hunting buddies kids and their bucks off our land(NY)...

Ambers first deer... (.308 bolt gun, she got cold the first morning of rifle season and walked back to the truck to warm-up, she decided to just stand-up in the back of the truck instead of walking back to the treestand with her Dad, this buck ran out, she jumped off the truck and got a clear shot)...

Cory's nice buck off a mid-day deer drive... (.243 single shot rifle, him and his Dad showed-up late and just stood by the trucks watching the field for any squirters, the buck turned out the sideof the drive and tried to cross an open field, buck was in full-tilt run...(we never saw this buck before the season)...

Little Stevens buck from last year... (.30-'06 semi-auto, another buck we never saw before the season, he set-up a tree stand on his own in aplace where the ground brush is really high/thick and trees are short(so of course us 'old timers" on the land ignored this spot, except for driving the deer out later in the season)...a 250yard neckshot to the only place he had a clear view...

Kinda cool that the young-ones do what is thought by the more "expert" hunters to be crazy and take some really nice bucks...

These are my daughter Tessa's kills to date she has been hunting now for a couple of years. She was lucky enough to draw a unit 7 rifle antelope tag that starts in two weeks also a bull elk tag in 3b should have some new pictures to post shortly. I can honestly say that I get more enjoyment hunting with her than anything else that I could possibly do. It really is hard to put into words the enjoyment that we share when out in the field.
