Peridot Poppies!

Recommended Posts

I went out to Peridot Mesa on the San Carlos Reservation yesterday to see the amazing bloom of poppies. WOW!! It was unbelievable! I think it's the best poppy bloom since the 1990's!

Here are some photos.

Stuck in the office at the moment, but now inspired to go view wild flowers this weekend!!!

Me and my girls found some in bloom in 15a on Saturday, but they were much less dense that what you found. Only a couple here and there.

Nice, you missed the best showing by about a week or so, it's still going strong in Gilson Wash and Upper Peridot community areas!

Yes definitely something that pictures just can't capture, truly a sight to see in person, I took about 2,000 pictures.
