Elk European Mounts

Good luck to everyone that have elk tags this year! Here is a few Pictures of some of the elk we have done this past year.

For some reason I didn't realize you could do velvet antlered skulls. Very interesting. They all look awesome.

A couple years ago I figured out how to clean them up and save the velvet. They sure are a pain in the butt and take 10-14 months but sure do turn out pretty cool.

Cole do you preserve the velvet prior to feeding the bugs? How much shrinkage do you have on the velvet?

Yes I do.I get a little shrinkage but it also depends on how grown the antlers are. So far not to bad.
