another skinning method

I've seen some things like that before. Seems like more trouble than what it is worth to me though.

That's how my grandpa used to skin his elk, he had a piece of metal that was a little smaller than a baseball. I will try and find it and take a pic, as long as u cut in all the right places the hide comes off like a glove.

I've used that method a few times. My buddy and I helped a guy haul out his Coues in 36B last November and then skinned his deer using this method....a rock instead of a golf ball though.

Why do I get the feeling that if I tried this it would not go as smoothly? I can picture the deer getting pulled in half or the post in my carport being pulled down. For safety's sake Ill stick to the old fashioned method I think. Cool video though.

old news - people been doing golf ball style for way tooo many yrs -

 

the air was introduced on the fur/varmint industry several yrs ago

 

get a gamble - spend a few minutes more than just the leg cuts - its done anyway
