A Few Desert Muleys

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

I'm a new member here. I thought I would introduce myself by sharing a couple desert muleys I've taken the last few years.

My neighbor has also taken a couple of nice desert muleys. He got this one the day after I got the first one in my original post:

Here are the two mounts side by side:

Here is one he got two years later:

NICE muleys! Congrats on the success for both of you, and welcome to the site.

I love 37B! I haven't done too well on deer in there, but I've taken a couple javelina out of that unit and think it's one of the pretties hiking units. It's a winter time favorite. Some very scenic areas.

Are those claw marks on the right side of the face of your buck?

Those are some great desert bucks. Thanks for posting!

He has some fighting scars on his face, but I think what you are talking about are jaw muscle contours in the particular form the taxidermist used.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Nice bucks! I'm in 37b a lot. There can be days you don't see anything and days you see a good handful. More often I don't see anything.
