I haven't ever seen a lion that I have shot since I have never shot one. Until that day, I live my dreams by seeing other people's dead lions.

Sorry about the sideways pics, my iPhone posted them this way no matter how I rotate them on the phone.

Guest 300ultramag.

Epic fails

300ultramag, how'd that lion in your avatar turn out?

The meat was amazing and the mount turned out perfect! I am little biased tho.

Nice lion, congrats!

That hill sure looks like a leg burner. Ive packed a couple deer up that kinda crap. Usually I just cut them in half.

I think he meant this one. attachicon.gifpink panther 3.jpgattachicon.gifpink panther 2.jpgattachicon.gifpink panther 1.jpg

It still makes me laugh and want to cry at the same time.

Whoa! I would've cried if I went to pick this up from the taxi and seen this.

Cool idea on the cat burrito and congrats.

Hopefully you aren't an elk hunter if you couldn't hike that kitty out of there on over your shoulders or on a pack frame.

Way to stick with it! A good frame pack would have been your best friend in this case.

I only kill elk where I can drive to them.

And if the elk you intend to kill disagrees, takes off after the shot and gets into somewhere you can't drive to??
