Happy Father's Day

Recommended Posts

This will be my second father's day without my dad. I was blessed to have had him around until he past away at the age of 85.. I grew up in a hunting/fishing family and the memories are many. My wife and I weren't blessed with any kids of our own and I'm envy of each of you who are fathers. Since we are on a hunting site I thought it would be fun to see some pictures of dads, in the field, with your kids or you with your dad.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Let's see some pictures.

I'll start with a couple deer hunt memories with my dad.

Me packing out dad's deer along Apache Lake. Notice the bear whitetail bow. They were slow shooters but we took a lot of game with them.

This was dad's last deer a few years ago up under the rim.

This Lil gal is just a little too young yet but she knows what an elk, deer, antelope, mallard is and even makes an elk grunt. Awesome pics of your dad TJ

I miss my dad every day. Me and the kids try to get out every weekend, whether its hunting, fishing, or scouting; just like he did for my siblings and me.

For those of you who still have their parents around, cherish them. I lost my dad when I was 11 years old. He had already planted the seed for my love of the outdoors. My fondest memories of him are our family's times together in the mountains. Now that I'm a father, I make a point of making a trip to the mountains every Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!

Great Post TJ.

Reading this while I am at work today! Can't wait for the day to be done!

Here is one of me and My Dad from a deer hunt in 2013 (that was the last hunt I could get him on). He turned 91 a few weeks ago. Hopefully I can get him out for deer this year.

I don't have any kids of my own but spend tons of time with my dad in the outdoors. Yesterday we spent the day at Lyman Lake.

Happy Fathers day!
