I'm starting this thread to see who finds the first bull elk rub of the year. As I recall, the earliest I have ever found a rub was August 4 a few years back. Who is going to be first this year?

Hoping to get out this weekend up north. Checked the couse cameras this weekend there looking healthy.

Was up in 8 yesterday and didn't see any.

Anything as far as rubs or anything as in you saw no elk? I have a late bull tag in 8. Probably heading up this weekend to scout.

Only saw 1 fresh one this weekend in 6a.. Actually had the privilege of watching him rub. He was a little 5x5 bugling and all. Ha Ha spunky little fella..
