What is this? Marker for buried treasure?

Recommended Posts

Start digging at the base of the rock - I get 1/2 the jar full of nuggets or old coins

That's what I was thinking. Probably something nearby.

Find somebody with a quality metal detector that you can borrow. Who knows, maybe you will strike it rich?

....or be cursed forever, messing around on a sacred burial spot.

It is a marker for the border wall. About 100 yards away you will find another one on a east to west line. JK. It looks like a geocache since it appears to be cemented to the rock.

I was looking around on the internet.

The Phoenix, or firebird, is commonly referenced as a Christian symbol of eternal life.

Your find on the rock has peaked my curiosity.

Not sure if there is any significance?

It looks kinda like a wax letter press? A stamp that would be used to seal a letter.

I agree. It is King Arthur's seal that he left after embedding Excalibur into that stone. Only question is, Did Lance pull the sword?

Me neither. When I was searching for the meaning of the symbol, many references where made of Christianity & religion. ? The Phoenix is reborn out of the ashes, and has eternal life?

I didn't pull the sword...I had visions of a big boulder rolling after me like in Indiana Jones
