Timmey triggers ?

Recommended Posts

No, weatherby vanguard on one, and savage 110 on the other.

Just curious were they at least halfway decent? I think the pro mark x is a useless piece of junk. A trigger that got built by an accountant, lawyer and marketing guy. Nobody invited the engineer.

The weatherby wasn't terrible but it had creep even when adjusted. The timney has no creep, and even at the factory setting of 3lb is alot better than the adjusted weatherby.

You might want to look at a trigger tech. I just put one on my edge and really like it . I have it set at 2 lbs and zero creep. I had a jewel and prefer the trigger tech. It's a frictionless trigger. It's adjustable from 1.5 to 4 lbs and you can adjust the pull externally .Look at them at Trigger Tech . com.

Nice to see someone else noticing the scripture.

I was surprised buying my first one, after my 4th or 5th I was looking forward to it. Awesome that a company that well known still does it!

I love the scripture put in the package too.

After trying them all, I'm only running Timney's now. Other than on my CZ455, they all have Calvin Elite 2-stage triggers. I never was a fan of 2-stage until I got my RPR and then after that...SOLD. My RPR, 700 (223AI) and 700 (308) all running them. Heck...I even put one in an AR that I use for medium range.

They work and the best part is that they're local!
