Snakeshot

Recommended Posts

Well, used the last of the snake shot last night on a 4ft diamondback. The .22 shot sucks btw. Took two to the head and kept grinning. The 45 put him down, unfortunately used a buffalo bore bear round on it. (Thought I had the 230 ball in the pipe)

I can't seem to find any shot for a .45 online?

Everyone I looked up says out of stock. Must be a shortage on them or something.. or maybe we're dealing with that many more snakes!

It's been almost non existent sine the 22 craze. The 38 Special loads do a dang-dang on copperheads, rattlers and water moccasins in Georgia!!

We have eliminated 6 in the last 3 days on a remote mountaintop job site. 12ga or shovel work just fine.

Just buy a Judge. Then use the smallest shot size you can find in 410.

The 45 stuff works great- it's just hard to locate. I'll try a few of the local shops.

It's for checking the cams- one mag usually filled with the stuff and the other ball- for bobcats and whatnot.

I think I bought rounds for my H&K .40 from Cabelas online. That stuff does not cycle well but it kills them with one shot.
