Recommended Posts

Ok guys, we are down to days left before the archery opener. I am getting my bag packed and my boots tied tight.

What's your last minute advice? Easily forgotten gear recommendations?

Make sure the day pack has a headlamp (with extra batteries) and toilet paper. I've had seemingly perfect trips ruined when I forgot those...

Take a target to shoot in camp.

Pack an extra release in case something happens (better to Have and not need , than need and not have)

Pistachios. Bring some pistachios. And not the shelled kind. That's cheating.

You trying to kill me? I am allergic to nuts.

Just remembered to add epipen to my list.

I don't believe you. You've been hanging out on this site for years and there are plenty of nuts here!

Glad you remembered the epipen. :)

Epipens are like guns. Better to have one and not need it than to need one and not have it.

I've needed it before and didn't have it. If I didn't live within minutes of the hospital I'd be dead.
