Last minute advice...

Recommended Posts

I take a bottle of DayQuil and NyQuil now just in case of a head cold. Sucks to get one and have nothing to treat it. It also worked wonders on my dad's ridiculously loud snoring last year. Also a spare belt for the ranger saved a trip last year. Up and running in about 30 mins instead of a miserable hike out and a scouting trip lost. I carry a back up for almost everything...

Always pack a extra jug of water, extra rope, small emergency kit, extra batteries, few pairs of rubber gloves, and my go too is snickers and BodyArmor Hydration drinks.

Keep A Positive Attitude! Every day in the woods is a day in paradise, filling the tag is just a bonus. I think we all get caught up in the pressure to succeed and punch our tags...... just having the opportunity is the true win! Some of my most memorable hunts I came home with the same tag I left with, but I returned with great memories.

Don't climb any ladders.

Don't play any "pick up" basketball games with the neighborhoid kids.

Don't cut any wood, metal or anything that will screw up your hands.

Don't take the atv out and start jumping hills.

Etc,etc....

We're only 10 days out, don't do anything stupid! :)
