White Deer!

Recommended Posts

Went out yesterday and just before dark we spotted this white deer. Just curious if it would be considered an albino, piebald or just a white deer. I've heard stories of albino deer

In this unit but I've been hunting this area for probably 10+ years now and haven't ran in to one until now.

Not sure why 1 picture was posted twice. It's only showing 3 attachment links.

The only thing that would make cooler is if it were a buck.

Definitely! My fiancé stalked into the little buck the white one was with and missed her first archery shot on a deer at 40.

There was a white, more piebald, muley doe in 22, close to Hwy 87. Haven't seen it in a while. The WT buck I shot last season had some piebald on it's chest and legs.

It almost looks like its got no hair? Is it just bald???

I couldn't tell you since I stayed back glassing and never got close. My Fiancé thought it was mud on the back of her neck that was stuck to hair but I don't know how much she focused on the white doe. She was pretty determined to shoot her first archery buck.

Nice pictures seems a bit offwhite. I've seen a picture of a albino doe that was killed in Mexico. That one was bright white someone posted on social media and got busted.
