Looking for older inexpensive rh bow

Recommended Posts

My son is coming to AZ soon for an extended stay. He's an archery newbie at hunting, doesn't own a bow. I'm going to have him practice with my bow over the next couple weeks and would like to hunt with him.

Any inexpensive, older bows out there? Perhaps somebody's old backup? Ie, I'm still using a PSE Nova so not looking for anything fancy or pricey, don't even know if he's going to pursue the sport. If he does, I know he'll give it 110%

Need to measure his wingspan then divide it by 2.5. that will get you close.

Thanks for the formula. He'll be here Sunday.

I've got a Diamond Iceman. Its got a tru glo 5 pin sight with a whisker biscuit rest, pretty new string. Draw weight is set at 65lbs and a 29.5" draw. I bought it as a back up and havent used it much. 5 years ago the bare bow was about 600 bucks. I'll sell the whole set up for $300.

I'm guessing 29 or 30

Is that yours, Mike? You two are about exact same size.

Thanks to everyone who responded and PM'd think I've got it covered. What a great group.

I've got an older Mathews that I was going to set up for bowfishing. Q2 I believe. 26" draw but can be setup with a module swap for any draw. Quiver, site, rest. $225 or reasonable offer.
