Wingshooter28 Report post Posted January 19, 2018 I have about 3,000 miles on these tires. Im looking to sell them with the truck attached $1,500 obo. The truck runs but needs work. It has 265K on it and it is a 2001 Silverado LS 2500 4x4 with the 6.0 motor. New serpentine belt and newish battery about 9 months or so and tags are good until September. I got the truck about 2 1/2 years ago and I have put about 20k miles on it. mostly my kid driving it to high school and practice. Issues it has is sometimes the motor will start to knock or tick but then it goes away and it sounds normal I am not sure why. I drove it to Havasu in September and Prescott later that same month and it never did it but I know it exists. It sat for a few months until my doughter came home for Christmas break and when she tried to drive it the coolant light came on so I checked the coolant and added more, she drove it for a month and before she left the coolant light came on again. I checked the oil and there was no coolant in the oil, and I cant see any leaking. After replacing the serpentine belt now I hear a humming sound thats like the sound you hear with low power steering fluid but it is coming from the area around the fan so I dont think it is the power steering but maybe it is. The other issue is it has 265,000 miles on it and its been used most of its life hunting in Arizona. Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
