lancetkenyon Report post Posted March 12, 2018 .240 Weatherby, .25-06, .270, .280, 30-06, 8mm Mauser, 35 Whelen. All are long action & .473" bolt face. Try pawn shops for some beat up rifles if you are just going to tear it apart. That is what I did when building my .25-06AI. And think long and hard about a 6.5-06AI or 6.5-.270AI or 6.5-.280AI.
