$250 OBO cash or will trade for a S&W SHIELD J.C. Higgins model 20 12ga with Power Pac system YOUR NEW TURKEY THUMPER

Recommended Posts

I would love yo see this go to someone on here that respects a great oldie shotty and doesnt chop her up. 👍

$250 OBO cash. WILL TRADE FOR A S&W SHIELD probably any caliber.

Wpuld also be nice home defense shotgun its very smppth and fast action.,

Ok so with much talk recently about some newer model (big name) pump shotguns that suck I'm gonna offer up a smooth sliding oldie.

J.C. Higgins model 20 in 12 gauge 2 3/4 with the Power Pac choke system. I have 1 medium range and 2 long range. These chokes run $30-$50 each when you find them.

So shotgun has EXCELLENT wood! Action is like butter! Some surface rust here and there but considering age a very nice and solid shotgun. The old recoil pad is missing a small chunk.

Barrel without choke system is 21.5" and with Power Pac is 25.5"

This would be a great budget TURKEY gun if you don't mind 2 3/4 high brass #4 👍 or yote gun whatever! It's also perfectly capable of thumping dove.

$250 cash with Power Pac no trades and that's less than what those guns that lock up cost otd and this 1 is real wood. :)

I included a couple screenshots of chatter about this gun and power pac from different hunt forums.

North Phoenix ftf deal and must be Az resident and legal to own

Thanks! It is pretty aweaome gun. I had 1 full size from Grandpa 28" i believe and no choke system that i never used so i sold on here to Tanclan4. The wood on these is really nice and again the action is more like the older wingmasters.

That shotgun has to be almost 60 years old or more. J.C. Higgins was the Sears' "store brand." The Model 20 was made by High Standard sometime before 1962 or so. A lot of different companies made firearms for them under the Higgins' label and later under the Ted Williams brand. J.C. Penny's store brand was Foremost and Monkey Wards used Western Field. If I recall, all three went completely out of the gun business in the 1980s

Great shotgun. I still have the one my dad bought ($20?) when he was in high school in the early 60s. And, yes, I have all of the chokes! One of these days, I'll take it out quail hunting!

Great reason for time travel with todays paycheck!:) think of all the goodies you would come home with.
