Yeah, the wind has been really really bad today. Saturday and Sunday should be good. We've see plenty of elk deer (mule and coues) antelope, coyotes, you name it. No turkeys yet.

Yeah, the wind hasn't gotten any better here 30mph all day with gusts a lot higher. We did see a couple of Toms to go after in the morning. We saw a plethora of other animals and cleared a lot of back roads while checking areas. If you haven't left home yet, bring a chainsaw!

Rossislider, Thanks for posting some pics. Hopefully we hear more about your hunt while you're out there. Good luck on the hunt!

My ten year old grand nephew got his first one a little after seven this morning. 20 yards with a 20 gauge.

GREAT JOB !!!

Good luck to all the rest. Excited to hear some gobbles next weekend.

The last few years my spring trips have been taken up by fishing trips to MX but chasing thunder chickens this year.

I'll update you on our morning a little later. It was a morning of missed opportunities. Currently at the tire shop in Springerville with a flat tire.

Itll be a good morning and day tomorrow. Winds are still pretty nasty up here. Not much gobbling where we were. Hang in there.

Great looking bird there for the young man. I'll be heading up to 6A this evening for the youth camp there. Hope to see some of you in the morning.
