It's all mostly gizzard shad, carp, and catfish. Seen a few decent sz flatheads out there too.

I thought those would survive and the crappie die!

Standman caught all of the crappie out of there before they had a chance to die.

It don't look pretty but this happens every 2 or 3 years at this lake. Nothing new, it bounces back very fast.

 

If this was to happen at Roosevelt, it would never come back without stocking.

All the fish dont die. If we can get some water this winter, there will be a spawn next year. When it killed in 2012, we were catching good numbers and nice fish 2 years later.
